I am a real machine I am a real machine Complete with moving parts and a detachable heart I have a fragile mind A severely fragile mind I'm pre-programmed to fail Subject to collapse I have no self-control I'm hardly confident Hardly confident You want me to let go Well offer me a plan Come give me your hand You want me to say no Well I don't think I can I don't think I can I have no self-control Reattach my heart Please reattach my heart

about

A Severe Joy plans to release 10 limited edition plexi-disc singles throughout 2012. This is the first single and it features two recently completed tracks, "I Am a Real Machine" b/w "Déjame Tocar". The initial run is limited to 20 units, only a handful of which are being made available here.

[note from the artist: The per unit cost of this plexidisc is very close to the actual retail cost. The lathe cuts are lo-fi, but if you like vinyl, this could be a neat addition to your collection.]
